Flexitech recruits Designers, Engineers and Technologists in one specialist area – transportation (planes, trains and automobiles) and allied industries. We are a supplier to all Australian car manufacturers and many of the original equipment manufacturers. We have over 200 contractors in the various engineering and design disciplines already employed in their specialist fields. We recruit for contract and permanent positions.

Supporting Contractors
Contractors are supported in their workplace by Flexitech with assistance given for performance appraisals, on-site opportunities and exit advice. We provide advice on setting up as a contractor so you can make the most of your opportunities. Contractors are invited to seminars on timely topics such as wealth creation and tax advice for year end. Let’s not forget the contractors’ Christmas party that is a great time and a great feeling of giving back to our community.
We have qualified personal counselling if needed and psychologist services are available on request.
Contractor Community
Flexitech is part of the broader community and we support our staff in their charitable works. As a company, Flexitech brings together our support for Wesley Mission and our contractors in a Christmas party. It feels good to be giving back to our community.
Selection Process
Flexitech draws extensively on referrals from existing contractors and clients, our network of industry contacts and our database. Each applicant provides a comprehensive statement of work history.
A personal interview is conducted to assess the applicant’s technical skills, experience and professionalism. We are also looking to make the best fit with the client’s culture. We can conduct this interview by video conference.
Job references are personally checked with particular emphasis placed on the candidate’s record of completing tasks on schedule while producing quality work. Preference is given to applicants with a proven track record.
There may be further meetings to discuss the client’s requirements and culture in more detail. With the applicant’s approval, a resume is presented to the client for consideration. The client will interview the applicant if the match is suitable. All successful applicatants sign a Code of Conduct declaration.
